What is a Minecraft PvP/Faction server?
A Minecraft PvP/Faction server is a multiplayer server where players group into clans — factions — claim land, protect a base and fight each other. ScandiCraft takes that formula and adds its own content on top.

Outside protected zones, any player can attack you and you can attack them. That is the main difference with a plain survival server: the map is never entirely safe.
Faction: you do not play alone
A faction brings players together under one name and one territory. It has members, roles, a private chat, declared allies and declared enemies.
Territory: you take ground
Your faction places claims on plots of land. Inside them, others cannot break your blocks or open your chests. That is what makes a base defensible.
Economy: fighting is not the only priority
Gathering, producing and trading give your playtime value. A farmer or a trader contributes as much to a faction as a strong fighter.
Conquest: the map changes hands
Alliances, betrayals, raids and seasons move the borders. A dominant faction stays exposed to costs and risks.

How is a PvP/Faction server different from a survival server?
On a survival server you build in peace. On a PvP/Faction server your base can be attacked and your gear can be lost. The game becomes a competition between groups, not just a building project.
Do I need a lot of people to start a faction?
No. A small, organised faction holds up very well. Size helps, but coordination, claim placement and preparation matter more.
Can I be attacked while I am offline?
ScandiCraft raid rules aim for a fight that can be planned and defended, not destruction while nobody is around. The exact conditions are published before the season opens.
Is PvP/Factions only for experienced players?
No. ScandiCraft balance rules explicitly require that new players and new factions can step into the gameplay loop.
