# The scepters

Scepters are limited-use items, deliberately expensive. None of them stack.

- Their recipes require rare resources: these are end-game items.
- None stack. The Escape scepter is consumed only if your teleport succeeds.
- Escaping requires an active combat tag inside an enemy claim and keeps you combat-tagged after teleporting.
- The Antifall Scepter works from your inventory, without being held.
- Stoneward repairs siege blocks in your faction's claims.

## Repair Scepter

Right-click to fully repair damageable items throughout your inventory, including armor and off-hand. Each lazurite, netherite, pyrite or scandium item uses one of its limited repairs; an exhausted item stays damaged. It also refills Creeper and Stoneward Scepters to their maximum capacity while keeping their enchantments. Each scepter can be refilled or repaired 5 times at most; the tooltip shows the refills left. It is consumed immediately, even when some items stay damaged, and accepts no enchantments.

## Creeper Scepter

Right-clicking a block spawns a creeper on the face you aimed at. It holds 3 uses, and the Unbreaking enchantment adds one per level, guaranteed. That is the only enchantment it accepts.

  | TNT | Block of Pyrite | TNT |
  | Block of Pyrite | Gunpowder | Block of Pyrite |
  | Blaze Rod | Sculk Catalyst | Block of Scandium |

## Stoneward Scepter

- **Left-click** — check the block's remaining integrity and the time until it regenerates, without spending a use
- **Right-click** — repair a damaged block in your faction's claims. Each successful repair restores one point and spends one use
- **No cost** — intact or unsupported blocks and unauthorized territory cost nothing
- While holding this scepter, clicks only inspect or repair: you cannot open chests or furnaces, mine a block or activate it. Explosion rules and the block resistance table are in the Raid section

## Uses, Unbreaking and recharging

Hover over the scepter in your inventory to see its remaining uses. Unbreaking increases its capacity without resetting uses already spent. A Repair Scepter recharges Stoneward Scepters in your inventory, 5 times at most per scepter. Recharge it before its final use: once empty, it disappears.

| Unbreaking | Uses |
| --- | --- |
| No enchantment | 5 |
| Level 1 | 10 |
| Level 2 | 20 |
| Level 3 | 40 |

+1 integrity per successful repair.

## Antifall Scepter

It cancels a lethal fall, from any slot in your inventory: you do not need to hold it. A fall you would have survived is taken normally and costs nothing. Single use.

- **Antifall Scepter**
  | — | Feather | Slime Block |
  | — | Blaze Rod | Feather |
  | Block of Lazurite | — | — |

## Escape scepter

- Right-click with it during combat inside an enemy claim
- It searches for a safe surface open to the sky within a horizontal radius of 48 blocks, outside all claims and safezones
- Success consumes it, starts a 90-second cooldown and adds 2 minutes to your remaining tag
- You receive Glowing for 30 seconds and Slowness I for 10 seconds
- Failure leaves the item with no cost or effects
- The recipe uses two Eyes of Ender, a scandium block, a blaze rod and a recovery compass
- Holding it prevents opening containers and their menus

- **Escape scepter**
  | — | Eye of Ender | Block of Scandium |
  | — | Blaze Rod | Eye of Ender |
  | Recovery Compass | — | — |

## Frequently asked

**Does the Antifall Scepter work like a totem?**

No, and that is deliberate. It only protects against a lethal fall, but it works from any inventory slot, whereas a totem must be held.

**Where can I use the Escape scepter?**

Only with an active combat tag, inside an enemy claim. It is refused outside combat, in your own claim, neutral claims, wilderness and protected zones. Chat explains the refusal and you keep your scepter.

**Can I use a second Escape scepter immediately?**

No. After a successful teleport, the cooldown is 90 seconds per player. Changing scepters or hands does not reset it. If you try again too soon, chat shows the remaining time and you keep the second scepter.

**Does the Escape scepter always take me outside enemy territory?**

If it succeeds, yes: the destination must be a safe surface open to the sky in wilderness or warzone, outside every faction claim and safezone. The horizontal radius is 3 chunks (48 blocks) from your starting point. If no suitable destination is found within that radius or the teleport is denied, chat tells you: you keep the scepter, with no cooldown, effects or combat-tag extension.

**Does escaping end my combat tag?**

No. A successful use adds 2 minutes to your remaining combat tag. You receive Glowing for 30 seconds and Slowness I for 10 seconds. The scepter is consumed and you must wait 90 seconds before using another. A failure consumes nothing and starts no cooldown.

**Can scepters be enchanted?**

Creeper and Stoneward Scepters accept only Unbreaking. Their capacities differ: see their sections above. Adding Unbreaking to Stoneward preserves uses already spent. Repair and Antifall Scepters reject enchantments at the anvil.

**Does the Repair Scepter touch my crafting grid?**

No. Items sitting in the crafting grid are not part of your inventory: they are not repaired.

**Can scepters be bought?**

Craft them using the recipes on this page. You can also trade them with other players.

**Can I repair blocks in neutral or enemy claims?**

No. Repairs are limited to your faction's claims. A refusal consumes no uses.
